Allan Ramsay Now and the Ramsay Edition
will outline the importance of Allan Ramsay to the Scots language, poetry and ballad opera, as well as to the institutions of the Enlightenment in Edinburgh, before going on to outline the need for the edition, the approach being taken by the editorial team, the textual policy and the knowledge exchange work being carried out with hotels, tourism, and the National Library, National Gallery and National Trust for Scotland.
